As well as Salford this role is commutable from Manchester, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Wigan, Stockport, Warrington as well as Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.We are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds, therefore prior technical experience isn’t always necessary for success.Role ResponsibilityReporting directly to the RMX Distribution Manager the Distribution Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Commercial vehicles owned and operated by Tarmac third party hauliers.Responsibilities for this role of Distribution Coordinator will include:Engaging with customers to receive and process concrete ordersScheduling delivery times in line with customer expectations and processing credit/debit card payments securelyWorking alongside the distribution team and the wider area transport team to provide a cost effective, sustainable, safe & customer focused transport operation for the businessWorking with the Logistics and Production Managers to provide a medium to long term plan to meet demands and exceed forecasted and budgeted volumes
