As a Procurement Support Representative, you will assist with requisitioning, inventory, planning, supply chain management, data input and analysis, operations and vendor management. The Procurement Support Representative is responsible for creating purchase orders and overseeing the procurement requisitioning system for The Ottawa Hospital and its affiliated organizations. This position is for the Civic Campus. Currently, this position has a remote work arrangement and the successful candidate must have a reliable internet connection and may be required to work on campus if needed.
Responsibilities & skills
Certification in healthcare supply chain;Knowledge of healthcare procurement policy and regulations;Previous experience in healthcare supply chain.

Starting July 1, 2018, all candidates must have completed the Ottawa Hospital Environmental Services certificate in order to be considered for this position. You can register for this course at any time and complete the e-learning modules at your own pace. The e-learning modules are free to members of the public. There will be two practical training days following the completion of the e-learning modules at a cost of 100$ per person. After completing the modules and practical experience, learners will receive a certificate of completion that must be included in your application.
