Understands the impact of transactions on financial results and can be proactive to recommend necessary actions and can communicate with stakeholder about transactions, processes and analysis. Provides analysis for areas such as planning, forecasting, reporting and audit and process improvements.This role will work in collaboration with all key BGIS departments to ensure full support of all activities and play a key role in our INTEGRATED approach to operating buildings.
Responsibilities & skills
Intermediate level knowledge of current accounting systems and MS Office suite of softwareBasic understanding and ability to document the transactional and financial data flows between relevant financial systems
Education
Intermediate understanding of internal/client control requirementsMaintains accurate and complete records for auditsGathers audit support data upon request

BGIS
The Accounting and Reporting Assistant is supervised by the Accounting and Reporting Manager and provides support in all areas of financial management including operating payables, accounts debtors, audits, general finance as well as control, monitoring and establishment of expenses. This position also provides support to other staff in the areas of accounting and reporting.
