Junior Oracle DBARoles and responsibilities:Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databasesMonitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform tuning to optimize system resourcesSupport backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and executionCollaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration between databases and applicationsAssist in implementing database security best practices, including user roles, privileges, and auditingParticipate in routine database maintenance tasks such as upgrades, patching, and indexingOracle Certified Associate (OCA) certificationStrong understanding of relational database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQLKnowledge of Oracle RAC, Grid, ASM, RMAN and DataguardKnowledge of database backup and recovery proceduresBasic experience with database monitoring tools and performance tuningBasic knowledge of Linux OS
Responsibilities & skills
Education
Basic knowledge of Networking, Storage and Security fundamentalsKnowledge of other relational SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MS SQL server would be a plus
