How To Use GreenTodays

Last Updated: October 27, 2026

GET STARTED WITH GREENTODAYS

One practical guide for job seekers and employers. Choose your country workspace, create the right account and follow the steps below.

START HERE

1. Choose your country workspace

Use the country directory to choose the job market you want to use. Check the country name beside the GreenTodays logo before browsing, posting or applying.

After signing in, the country selector on your dashboard switches your workspace. Jobs, applications and invitations are filtered by the selected portal. Your original registration country remains recorded; switching workspace does not create a new account. Your company profile is shared, while a new job belongs to the country in which you submit it.

Before you submit: confirm the country shown in the header and the job location in the form.

2. Create your account and sign in

  1. Open Register and choose Job seeker / Employee if you want to apply, or Employer if you want to recruit.
  2. Complete the required account details. If an activation email is requested, follow its instructions and check your spam folder.
  3. Use Sign in with your account credentials, or select Continue with Google when available. For Google sign-in, choose the correct account type in the modal and then your Google account.
  4. Open My Account to reach your dashboard, profile, settings and invitations.

An existing account keeps its saved account type. Choosing a different type in the Google modal does not automatically convert it. If you registered with Google, use Google sign-in; your Google password is not a GreenTodays password. For a password account, use Forgot password if needed.

If you see a multiple-account or account-type warning, contact support. Do not delete accounts or create more duplicates to bypass the warning.

FOR JOB SEEKERS

3. Build your resume profile

Your resume profile is the source of your generated CV. Start at My Resume Profile.

  1. Enter your full name, a valid email address, professional title and a useful professional summary.
  2. Add accurate experience, education and skills in their separate sections. Add projects, languages and other supported details when relevant.
  3. Save each section and review the completion progress at the top of the page.
  4. Mark your profile ready when your information is complete. The current readiness check requires your name, valid email, summary, at least one experience, education and skills entry, and the ready confirmation.
  5. Use Preview resume to check the information before applying.
Aim for 100%: a profile that is saved but not marked ready may still be blocked from applying. Use genuine experience and qualifications; do not invent entries to complete a section.

Manage your account picture and contact details in Account settings. An uploaded picture takes priority over an available social-login picture. Resume upload is a legacy feature and may be unavailable; use the profile builder for the current website application flow.

4. Choose a template, preview and export your CV

  1. In My Resume Profile, open Resume templates.
  2. Select Preview to compare the available designs using your saved details.
  3. Choose Use template on an available template. A Selected label identifies the saved choice.
  4. Use Export PDF on a template you are allowed to export. If a print dialog opens, select Save as PDF and review every page before saving.

Free and eligible unlocked/selected templates can be exported. A locked template may be previewable without being available for export. Selecting a template does not, by itself, purchase other templates. If an unlock is not recognized, contact support with the template name.

5. Find, save and apply for jobs

  1. Open jobs in this country. Search by keyword and city, and use the available category and job filters.
  2. Open View job and read the description, requirements, company, location and closing date.
  3. Save a job to return to it later. Manage your saved list in Saved Jobs; use the remove/unsave action when appropriate.
  4. When your resume profile is ready, select Apply and follow the displayed application steps.

For an eligible company-managed job, the normal application flow records your application for that employer. Some listings instead open an email application page: review the recipient, subject and message, then send. A PDF is generated from your profile for the supported email flow; success is confirmed only when the system reports that it was sent.

Review recorded applications in Applied Jobs. Saving a job is not applying. Viewing an invitation is not applying, either. An application does not guarantee a reply, interview or offer.

FOR EMPLOYERS

6. Add your company profile

  1. Sign in with an Employer account.
  2. Open Add company. If you start by selecting Post a Job without a company, you may be directed here first.
  3. Complete the required company name, website, contact and business details. Add the logo and other supported fields where available.
  4. Save the company and review the saved information.
  5. Continue to website verification before posting jobs or using verified-employer features.

Use your organization's actual public website. Make sure the company email is monitored for recruitment messages. Do not add an unrelated business or a website you are not authorized to manage.

7. Verify your company website

  1. Open Verify company.
  2. Copy the exact verification tag shown for your company.
  3. Add that tag inside the <head> section of your website homepage. Ask your website administrator if you cannot edit it yourself.
  4. Publish the changes on the public website. Clear website/CDN caches if needed.
  5. Return to GreenTodays and select Verify Company.
  6. Wait for the result. On success, the company status changes to Verified.
If verification fails: check the saved website address, homepage redirects and exact tag. The tag must be in the published page's head and accessible without signing in. Copying the tag alone does not verify the company.

Website verification checks access to the website; it is not a guarantee of the company's identity, employment practices or job quality.

8. Submit and manage a job

  1. Confirm the country workspace in the header.
  2. Use Post a Job after saving and verifying your company.
  3. Complete the required job title, category, location, employment type, description, requirements and other supported fields.
  4. Set an accurate future application deadline and review the job status.
  5. Save/submit the job and check the confirmation. A pending or inactive listing is not the same as an active published job.
  6. Open My Jobs to review, edit or manage your listings and their applications.

A job belongs to the portal in which it was submitted. Switch country before creating a job for another market. Keep job descriptions current, avoid duplicate/misleading listings and close jobs that are no longer available.

Active status and deadline both matter: a job can still carry an active status while its closing date has passed. Update an eligible job's deadline or create a new valid listing before inviting candidates.

9. Review applications and candidate CVs

  1. Open My Jobs and choose the applications/candidates action for the relevant job.
  2. Review the candidates who applied to your job and use the available application-management actions.
  3. Use View CV to open the protected PDF preview modal and Download PDF to save an eligible application CV.
  4. For a complete profile, the CV is generated from the candidate's current profile and eligible saved template. Older eligible uploaded PDFs may be used as a compatibility fallback.

Application CV access is restricted to the receiving authorized employer and its job. The public career directory does not grant full CV access. A profile-generated application CV can reflect later profile edits; it is not a frozen submission-time copy. Use applicant information for the recruitment purpose for which it was shared.

VISIBILITY AND PRIVACY

10. Choose whether employers can discover you

Completing a profile or registering through an app does not automatically publish a directory card. Where candidate discovery is available, employees control it from Candidate visibility & privacy.

  1. Complete your resume profile, then choose the country where you want to be discovered.
  2. Choose a display name/professional alias and select the title, city, skills and experience summary you want shown.
  3. Enable profile photo sharing only if you want your current profile picture included.
  4. Separately choose whether verified employers may invite you to apply.
  5. Review the card preview and sharing notice, confirm the adult and consent checkboxes, and save your choice.

The directory is currently restricted to signed-in employers with eligible verified companies. It shows the approved career card, not your email, phone, full address or downloadable CV. Avoid putting contact details or sensitive information in the text fields.

Use Hide my card & withdraw consent to stop future directory display and new invitations. Disabling invitations alone stops new invitations while leaving your approved card visible. Existing job applications and previously sent invitations are separate; copies already made by viewers cannot be recalled.

11. Send, receive and respond to job invitations

For employers

  1. Open Find candidates in the intended country portal.
  2. On a candidate who has allowed invitations, choose Invite to apply.
  3. Select one of your own active, unexpired jobs in that portal.
  4. Write a short professional message of 10–500 characters. Do not include contact details or links; the job link is included automatically.
  5. Send and check the success message. Track responses in Job invitations.

If no invite button appears, check the candidate's invitation permission, your company verification, the selected portal, job status and job deadline. A duplicate invitation for the same candidate/job is not sent. Sending limits apply, and someone who has already applied to that job cannot be invited again through this flow.

For job seekers

  1. Enable invitations in Candidate privacy and save your consent.
  2. Open Job invitations from your dashboard, account menu or notification bell.
  3. Read the company, job, message and invitation expiry.
  4. Select View job & apply to review the job and complete the normal application steps, or choose Decline invitation.

Invitations expire after 30 days. Receiving or opening one does not create an application or share your CV. An Applied invitation has a View application link: employers open the job's candidate applications; employees open their own Applied Jobs list. Closed jobs and unavailable companies may no longer appear in the invitation list.

12. Understand the notification bell and live bar

Signed-in users have a bell in the header and a notification bar near the bottom of the screen. Employees receive new invitation updates; employers receive applied/declined responses. A sender also sees confirmation when an invitation is saved.

  • A red bell badge indicates new updates in this browser. Open the bell for recent items or select View all invitations.
  • Opening the dropdown/inbox or dismissing a displayed update marks that batch reviewed in this browser. The same update should not keep popping up.
  • While the tab is visible and connected, updates are normally checked about every 15 seconds. Hidden/offline tabs pause; connection errors can delay updates.
  • Read/dismissed state is browser-local. Another browser or device may show the update again.
  • These are website notifications, not a promise of email, SMS or native app push delivery.

If a badge is absent, open Job invitations to review available items. Check that you are signed in to the correct account and country.

13. Manage your account

Use Account settings for supported personal details, profile picture, country and account preferences. Use Change password for a password account.

If the account-type switch is available, review its warning before saving. Existing company, profile or job activity may require support review; a type change signs you out. Do not create another account just to bypass a blocked switch.

Deactivate account makes the account inactive; it is not the same as confirmed permanent erasure of all records. For permanent deletion or privacy requests, contact support. Read the Privacy policy and Terms & conditions before sharing information.

14. Common questions and support

Why can I not apply?

Check that you are signed in as a job seeker, the job is available, your profile is 100% ready, and you have not already applied. Follow any company-verification or email-application message shown on the page.

Why does Verify Company fail?

Confirm the saved website URL, publish the exact tag in the homepage head, clear caches and make sure the page can be reached publicly. Then select Verify Company again.

Why is my profile not in the candidate list?

A complete profile alone is insufficient. Save explicit directory consent for the correct country, approved fields and the required confirmations. Discovery must be available; the viewer must be an eligible verified employer.

Why is there no Invite to apply button?

The candidate must allow invitations. You need a verified company and an active job with a valid deadline in this portal. Check My Jobs and the closing date even if the status says active.

Why did the same notification appear on another device?

Notification review state is saved in each browser. Opening the inbox or dismissing the update reviews it for that browser, not every device.

Why does login mention multiple matching accounts?

Older country-app registrations may have separate records. Contact support for account review. Do not delete records or repeatedly register the same email.

Need a hand?

Send the page URL, selected country, what you were trying to do and the visible error message. Never send your password, Google token or verification credentials.
