Find your future with us.The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Systems Engineer to join our team located in North Charleston, SC.The Engineering Operations ( EngOps ) Organization within 787 Airplane Level Integration Team (ALIT) is seeking an engineer to join our Systems Engineering team. The position requires a candidate with a servant leadership mindset who communicates and collaborates well with others. They need to foster an environment that values diversity. This role will have an emphasis on mentoring/coaching teammates, establishing positive working relationships, and instilling a culture of engineering excellence and safety, and technical leadership.The ALIT Systems Engineer is a degreed engineer who provides technical leadership for the facilitation of Tier 0-2 requirements processes on the 787 program. They lead technical design reviews to ensure quality standards are met for all new, modified and deviated requirements. Candidates should have design or systems engineering background with experience on the 787 or a comparable commercial airplane program.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required , accreditation standard.
