DescriptionOur client is a leading marketer and distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, and am currently hiring for a Singapore-based Business Unit Director with an APAC focus for their Advanced Materials business group.ResponsibilitiesReporting to Head of APAC as well as the Global Business Leader of Advanced Materials, this position will be responsible for the strategic & commercial leadership of all aspects of the Business in APAC, which have been expanding rapidly and have very ambitious plans for the future. You will further develop and drive the growth strategy and objectives for the organisation to include both organic growth and bolt-on acquisitions, while being part of the Advanced Materials Global Business Group strategic team.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
You will have an Engineering Degree (polymer, material science, chemicals, mechanical etc) with at least 15 years of relevant experience in the Advanced Materials industry preferable on thermoplastics and/or additives (converter and compounders segments preferred) across APAC region.
