Job Description
Oversee the operation and maintenance of Sembawang Cable Depot’s storage facilities for submarine cable spares.Maintain accurate records of all stored cables, spare parts, and equipment, tracking their movements and allocation.Assign and manage maintenance tasks for depot staff.Arrange labor for cable transfers and internal operations.Coordinate with cable system owners, suppliers, and shipping agents for incoming spares and equipment, ensuring proper documentation.Continuously improve depot operations and processes.Prepare and submit reports on cable spare movements and monthly status updates.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities + Skills
Strong teamwork, communication, and service-oriented mindset.Comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work.Knowledge of submarine fiber optics is a plus.
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a related field.At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a relevant industry.Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel machinery.
