DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSketch preliminary design plans, including electrical layouts.Visualize & create design concepts and explain it to client.Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.Prepare final plans, using computer applications.Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs.Prepares reports and specifications; including review of reports, plans, cost estimates and calculations.Finalize mood boards - a collection of suitable images, colors and materials.Preparing Bills of quantity.
