Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Technical Engineering team as a Senior Operational Quality and Safety Specialist. As a Senior Operational Quality and Safety Specialist, you will work with Base Maintenance to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained. You will be responsible for conducting audits, reporting on Quality and Safety findings and incidents and developing an improvement plan. You will consistently monitor activities/ tasks practiced in Production ensuring safety standard/s are executed, liaise with the Technical Quality Assurance and Safety team in order to increase awareness in Base Maintenance and assist with reviewing Quality Assurance Management System (QAMS) and Technical Occurrence Reports (TOR) incidents. You will also work closely with Production in coaching and communicating on quality and safety aspects including engaging with other Technical business units take necessary actions, focused on preventative measures.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
Detailed knowledge of air legislation, particularly ICAO, QCAA, EASA and FAA Regulations.Detailed knowledge of Quality and Safety systems, continued airworthiness and aircraft maintenance fundamentals.
Experience
Training on QCAA/EASA regulations.Experience in continuing airworthiness, safety and quality systems.Knowledge of maintenance safety systems / civil aviation authority or quality assurance functions.
