Senior Mechanical Design EngineerQatar Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to conduct and support the delivery of complete process mechanical designs for foul sewer, treated water, storm water and sewage pumping stations and treatment plants. What You'll Be Doing:Carrying out Concept, preliminary and detailed engineering works related to the mechanical design for foul sewer, storm water and treated water pumping stations stations to PWA standards and quality.Familiar with PFD, P&ID, mechanical calculations such as blower sizing, screen sizing, grit classifiers and process pumps including datasheets for the treatment plantsCarryout design of odour control systems including bio filtration and activated carbon filtration as required with input from the vendors.Carry out hydraulic calculations and hydraulic analysis modeling for sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.Carry out preliminary surge analysis for the pumping station projects as required.Familiar with the design of HVAC, Plumbing and firefighting systems associated with pumping stations and utility buildings.Knowledge of CFD analysis preferred.Excellent report writing skills.Preparing and generating spread sheets to carry out calculations.
