Job Description:Pavement EngineerQatar Parsons is looking for an experienced Pavement Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing pavement design, construction, and maintenance activities to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.What You'll Be Doing:Conduct traffic analysis and develop traffic-related inputs to pavement design.Analyze geotechnical reports to assess subgrade conditions and incorporate findings into pavement design.Develop pavement designs using both empirical and mechanistic-empirical methods.Utilize design software and tools to model pavement performance.Ensure designs meet the requirements of QCS 2014 and QHDM.Identify and implement cost-effective design alternatives without compromising quality or performance.
Responsibilities + Skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Strong understanding of pavement design standards, codes, and regulations.Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.Must be a certified engineer by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) in Qatar.
