Job Description

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashers, hand washing stations, pot washing stations, and trash compactors. Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, pantries, tables, tools, knives and utensils. Receive deliveries, properly store perishable items, and replace inventory. Ensure clean merchandise is stored in appropriate areas. Wash dishes in a three-bowl sink using detergent, rinse and sanitizing chemicals. Check, pull out and stack cleaned items; return soiled items and scrub them again. Rack any items set aside and spray them with hot water to soften and remove food residue. Sort, soak and wash/rewash silverware. Remove the soiled manifold. Empty and maintain litter boxes and dumpster areas. Clean and mop all areas of assigned department. Dispose of glassware in appropriate containers. Unpack cartons and put them and other recyclable items in the recycling bin.
