At Central Maine Healthcare our team members are committed to providing exceptional care and experiences for our community and for each other every day.8 HOUR SHIFTS/EVENING/NIGHTS Position Summary:The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total Patient Care Services during their assigned shift. In the absence of the Administrator and/or designee, the Nursing Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions while utilizing knowledge of standards, policies and procedures outlined for the institution. The Nursing Supervisor is also responsible for facilitation of throughput; including placement of admissions and transfers.

Education
Basic computer knowledge.Strong clinical skills, preferably in critical care, and knowledge to sustain and evaluate competence in the care of patients in various clinical settings.
