Full job descriptionJob Description:Job Title: Lead Underwriter (Property & Casualty)Job Location: LagosRequirements- Build, Lead and manage a team of underwriters- Place policies on strong terms, conditions and memos.- Hard Negotiations on rates and Coverages- Review and analyze complex insurance proposals.- Set underwriting guidelines and standards for property and casualty insurance- Negotiate risks based on insureds criteria- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and Underwriters- Conduct / Co-ordinate risk assessments and site visits as needed- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes
