Job Description
A skid steer operator is responsible for operating and maneuvering skid steer loaders, also known as skid loaders or bobcats, to perform various tasks in construction, landscaping, agriculture, and other industries. Skid steer operators typically work on job sites to assist with material handling, earthmoving, grading, and other tasks requiring the use of heavy equipment.Responsibilities:Equipment Operation: Operate skid steer loaders to move materials, load and unload trucks, excavate soil, grade terrain, and perform other tasks as directed by supervisors or project plans.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating skid steer loaders, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting pre-operational equipment checks.
Responsibilities + Skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and work orders.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
