Full job descriptionJob Summary:Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead our HR function. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in the manufacturing sector, demonstrable experience working with trade unions (specifically the National Joint Industrial Council - NJIC and the National Union of Chemical, Footwear, Rubber, Leather, and Non-Metallic Employees), and the ability to contribute at a strategic level. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of HR will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives, fostering a positive employee relations environment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills, as well as the ability to present effectively to the board of directors.
