DescriptionThe African Development Bank (AfDB), as the administrator of the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA), hereby invites Individual Consultants (Consultants) to indicate their interest to provide their services as Programme Officer (PO) for the Africa Hydropower Modernisation Programme (AHMP).SEFA is a Special Fund that provides technical assistance and concessional financing to unlock private sector investments into renewable energy generation across the African continent.AHMP is a programmatic approach to hydropower modernisation across the continent.The AfDB together with the International Hydropower Association (IHA) have identified a pipeline of 15 projects to be supported under AHMP. Ten of these projects will receive technical assistance to conduct preparatory work (technical and legal) and five projects will receive grant funding for small but impactful rehabilitation works.The PO will oversee the implementation of AHMP and will be supported by the AfDB-AHMP team as well as by technical and legal consultants.

Education
Interested eligible Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to provide the services (Documentation such as CVs, References to similar services, demonstration of experience in comparable assignments, etc.).The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a shortlist and the selection procedure shall conform to AfDBs Rules and Procedure for the Use of Consultants under projects financed by the AfDB Group.
