Job description
Key Duties and Responsibilities:Keep track of all parts, tools, and supplies in the workshop inventory.Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure that essential items are always available.Implement inventory control measures to prevent theft, damage, or loss.Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts and supplies.Check for accuracy in the delivered items and report any discrepancies to the relevant personnel.Ensure that all received items meet quality standards and are in good condition.Organize and maintain the storage of parts and supplies in an efficient manner.Implement a logical and systematic arrangement to facilitate easy retrieval of items.Utilize storage space effectively and optimize the layout for accessibility.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, transactions, and receipts.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
HND/Bsc in any Engineering discipline
Experience
Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skillsFamiliarity with inventory management and optimization techniquesHigh degree of multi-tasking and time management capabilityIntegrity and professionalism
