Job Description

The Dialysis Unit Staff Nurse provides direct and indirect care for assigned patients in Dialysis Unit per scheduled shifts. The Dialysis Unit staff nurse is primarily responsible for professional performance and safe patient care. The role encompasses nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients across the health care continuum involving families. The Dialysis Unit staff nurse is accountable for clinical, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes, and in accordance with established DASH policies, procedures, guidelines, Professional Practice and standards of practice. Participates in PI projects, collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes. Utilizes knowledge of Dialysis period and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Abides by the accreditation requirements and international standards. Supports the mission and vision of Dar Al Shifa Hospital and the Nursing Department.
