Description About this role  BlackRock’s Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) group provides investment strategies and solutions that employ sophisticated asset allocation, risk management, and extensive research to deliver specific outcomes tailored to client needs.The Multi-Manager Platform (MMP) is an integral, newly launched Platform in MASS. The MMP was created in response to MASS’s rapid growth and is designed to serve clients better, increase operational efficiency, and drive success in third-party asset manager relationships. The ability to incorporate third-party managers into the portfolios we build is a crucial differentiator for BlackRock. The MMP has three distinct pillars: Manager Research & Selection, Manager Implementation & Infrastructure and Relationship Management. Manager Research & Selection focuses on identifying and combining managers to generate alpha through in-depth investment and operational due diligence and providing the framework for selecting, blending, and de-selecting managers using data-driven approaches to deliver resilient portfolio construction across alpha and indexed strategies. Manager Implementation & Infrastructure partners with other internal teams to build out new data models and our Aladdin platform’s infrastructure for third-party managers; they also are responsible for ensuring there is a consistent operating model for implementing third-party managers into whole portfolio solutions at scale. Finally, Relationship Management is responsible for the overall relationship between MASS and each third-party manager and serves as the Multi-Manager Product Strategists to represent MMP’s capabilities internally and to clients.
