The role is easily commutable from Gravesend, Rochester, Dartford, Tilbury, Sittingbourne, Ashford, Cranbrook, Staplehurst, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Swanley, Paddock Wood.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Role ResponsibilityReporting to the Operations Manager, the Quality & Assurance Manager will oversee and manage the effective allocation of resources ensure efficient delivery that impacts positively on PAVES business performance.The role will coordinate across all operational performance measured with relevant KPI's.Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Quality & Assurance Manager , not exhaustive:To manage, improve and comply with all HSQE requirementsTo drive performance improvements and best practice across the businessEffective management, coaching and development of all direct reports and drive full employee engagementTo manage business performance on areas of controlEmbedding a system of working and to champion technologies that are identified for use within the operational teamManagerial experiencing ideally from the contracting industryResource ManagementOperational Technical knowledgeEffective communication skills
