The role is based from our Tarmac Norwich site, in Norfolk and is easily commutable from Spixworth, Wymondham, Taverham, Loddon, Aylsham, Hemsby, Great Yarmouth, Gorleston-on-Sea, Hopton, Lowestoft, Beccles, Dereham, Cromer, North Walsham and the surrounding areas.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Role ResponsibilityAs the Programme and Resource Manager you will oversee the strategic works programme and contractors resource plan. Accountable to produce the overall Norfolk Strategic Programme and scheduling of schemes therein to maximise resource utilisation and outputs. Key liaison with NCC over strategic programmes and forward works planning. Coordinate programme updates from agents and monitor PPC’s in line with forecast commercial outrun. Drive continual improvement through collaborative planning and implementation of data lead decisions. Ensure continuity of future workstreams in line with business growth plan. As well as you will provide guidance on highways management matters to the Tarmac company on whose contract/contracts upon which they are operating to ensure their objectives and targets are achieved leading to the successful overall delivery of the programme.
