Description About this role Associate Operations Engineer – Job DescriptionWe are looking for a technical support engineer to join the Production Engineering team, working within the Aladdin Platform Group. A person who has a passion for technical troubleshooting, learning new technology tools and improving new procedures & processes. This role involves identifying trends and being a problem solver with a proven aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and proprietary systems. You will be a technical product expert during customer implementation projects, organize and implement the system deployment plans, while automating software integration and developing reports in compliance with applicable project requirements.We have a broad and diverse skillset and are seeking a new team member to join us who will bring something additive and different. If you have a background in supporting critical applications and a track record in outstanding service delivery, we would love to speak to you!Role Responsibility§ Build, update, and maintain tooling to deploy, upgrade, monitor, and maintain infrastructure hosted in AWS and Azure.§ Designing, implementing and working with automated solutions for cloud-based infrastructure.§ Developing or modifying solutions to automate tasks and meet business requirements.§ Contribute to a library of software that enables the smooth operation of BlackRock products.§ Help to suggest and design both short-term and long-term engineering solutions to improve existing operational workflows.§ Build relationships with stakeholders to understand their roles and requirements and clearly communicate with them on progress, challenges, and questions.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
Experience with Linux server environments. Experience with configuration management or Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible. Experience with Kubernetes environments. Previous experience working in the Financial Services or Technology industry.
