At AstraZeneca UK, Medical & Scientific Affairs plays a pivotal role in driving practice change through effective NHS collaborations and partnerships in order to achieve our Medical Missions. The Population Health team is accountable to deliver the strategy and plan that maximizes our impact to deliver improved outcomes for patients with long-term conditions. Reporting to the Homecare Lead, the Homecare Manager Role will support the AstraZeneca Homecare Lead with provision of Homecare and PSP Services, including Vendor governance and management. The Homecare Manager will assist with the development and implementation of new Homecare and PSP services.Accountabilities:You will be responsible for the analysis of AZ Homecare vendor governance systems, setting of agenda and facilitation of Homecare Service review meetings, scrutiny and management of Homecare invoicing, identification of operational issues and checking PV reconciliation reports trends and patient safety concerns and resolution. You will also ensure that all governance files are in date and policies and procedure documents are correct. You will manage (identify and mitigate) project risks, both technical and business-related, drive timely decision-making to keep projects on track. You will maintain timely and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders. You will assist in the design and development of new Homecare services or service elements, set up of new service elements and implementation with vendors, establish, implement and maintain portfolio-related tracking, metrics and reporting tools such as AI365. You will assist in development of processes to report and monitor for audit readiness of homecare services. You will ensure on time completion and understanding of required organisation operative procedures. You will demonstrate adherence to policies and behaviours associated with ABPI code of conduct.
