Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Automation Leader to drive innovation and optimization within AMET supply chain operations, leveraging the power of Amazon Web Services (AWS) while bringing strong AFT/SCOT expertise. This role will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and implementing automation solutions that improve efficiency, improve results, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex automation projects, a deep understanding of supply chain processes, and a passion for leveraging AWS and SCOT technologies, including AI/ML services, to solve challenging problems. This role will require strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Key job responsibilitiesStrategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with Amazon's overall supply chain goals, focusing on AWS and SCOT-based solutions. This includes identifying key areas for automation, prioritizing projects, and defining measurable success metrics.Project Leadership: Lead the full lifecycle of SCOT and AWS-powered automation projects, from ideation and requirements gathering to implementation and post-launch support. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.AWS Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate relevant AWS technologies, including AI/ML services like Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Rekognition, and other relevant solutions like AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon EC2. Identify and recommend the best AWS services to meet our specific needs.Solution Design: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to design and develop innovative automation solutions. This includes defining functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and overseeing the integration of new systems within the AWS ecosystem.
