This is why we give each and every person who is contracted at Sanlam the opportunity to make the most of who they are, and to be recognised, respected and rewarded for their capabilities.Purpose of the RoleThe primary function of this role is to provide support to the Business Manager in terms of the following: Output/Core Tasks:Office and diary managementMail and information managementTravel arrangementsOrganizing and preparation of meetings; functions; presentations; conferences; workshops; satellite broadcasts, video conferences etc.Preparation of documents and the distribution thereof for the aboveMinute takingConsolidate and provide relevant reportsSupport Business Manager with secretarial duties as requiredAssist with adhoc requestsOverview of Role Responsibilities (Level 1-13)Administration - Level 2 - Process OperatorConduct data entry into company systems, and review and verify the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility.Document Management - Level 2 - Process OperatorMaintain files and records.Document Preparation - Level 2 - Process OperatorUse standard office software to carry out basic formatting of letters, memoranda, and routine reports.Work Scheduling and Allocation - Level 2 - Process OperatorOrganize own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities.Operations Management - Level 2 - Process OperatorCarry out operational tasks by following established processes. May involve adjusting basic settings or parameters in order to meet performance standards.Required SkillsPlanning and Organizing - IntermediateWorks at an intermediate level to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet objectives.
