Job Description:Position: Housekeeping Supervisor (German Speaking)Key Responsibilities:Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times onboard the cruise shipTrain and develop new and existing housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as neededMonitor and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use and ordering when necessaryCollaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage and guest services, to ensure seamless guest experiencesAdhere to all safety and security protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and reporting any incidents or concerns to the appropriate authoritiesAssist with scheduling and coordinating the work of housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources

Education
Excellent time management and organizational abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Experience
Fluent in German written and verbalPrevious experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role, preferably in a hospitality or cruise ship setting

Crew Life at Sea
Assist the Refrigeration Engineer in maintaining and repairing all refrigeration and air conditioning systems on board the vesselMonitor and maintain proper temperatures and humidity levels in all refrigerated and frozen storage areasTroubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration and air conditioning systemsPerform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, changing filters, and checking refrigerant levelsKeep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
