KBR is seeking a Senior Lead Refining Process Engineer to help support major refining projects. This role will serve as a Lead Process Engineer during project execution.***This position will start in Houston, TX then mobilize to Al Khobar, KSA for 16 + months ***Responsibilities:PFD development, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, relief valve calculations, flare sizingManage a moderate size team of Process engineersSupport FEED in the Refining sectorResponsible for the study, design, and specification, and services related to Refineries, Petrochemicals, and Offsites & UtilitiesLicensor coordination, evaluation, and integrationExperience (functional and leadership) in PDP development and front-end process engineering activities is preferredMay also be responsible for the development of process simulations and advanced controls/process optimization.Provides technical guidance to less experienced engineersPlans, schedules, and conducts working requiring independent judgment and adaptation of engineering techniques
Responsibilities & skills
Demonstrated leadership of process design on capital projects, including responsibility for budget, schedule, and change managementKnowledge of Aspen, Pro-II software suites is desiredExperience leading small to large design groups
Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field10 + years directly related experience with average experience of 20 + yearsPre-FEED, FEED, EPC experience in refining sectorDesigning or supervising the Process Engineering deliverables associated with Refining Units, Amine Recovery, Sulphur Recovery, Utilities and Offsites
