Based upon the principles of eco-tourism facilities will include a folded vertical village, a lake with water sports and event facilities, high altitude ski village, observatory, world leading health and wellbeing facilities and a nature reserve which will be home to unique wildlife, heritage sites and exploration opportunities.With over 3,600 hotel, 2,200 homes, 9 iconic buildings and 100 world class indoor and outdoor experiences Trojena will become the ultimate mountain destination. Bechtel will provide a full range of project management services to assist the delivery of this iconic destination.Job Summary:The Engineering / Permitting Co-ordinator position will be responsible for design interface activities within the Engineering discipline for the NEOM mountain region project which consists of Recreational assets comprising of site wide infrastructure, Ski Slopes, Hiking, and nature trails; Real Estate comprising of Hotels, Ultra Luxury mansions, Villages, lifestyle, and resorts; and Major structures consisting of Vault, lake Tunnel and bow. Working with a multi-disciplinary team including Bechtel and delivery team of the client’s design consultants and subsequent contractors in accordance with the requirements of the client for building the project infrastructure. Responsible for the maintenance of technical standards bringing lessons learnt from other relevant projects and value engineering. Responsible for working with the Engineering/Interface Director on technical matters pertaining to the design and construction of the associated infrastructure.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
Broad knowledge of discipline engineering techniques, the design of engineered systems, and engineering and design calculations in connection with the preparation of relevant documentation needed for applying for the permits required.Experienced with the practices and procedures as well as International Design Codes and Standards including broad knowledge of Saudi government compliance standards.
Experience
A recognized Engineering Degree from an accredited university with 3+ years of relevant experience.A professional license from a recognized licensing or registration board.Minimum 2 years experience in technical projects managing interfaces, stakeholder and permitting within one or more major infrastructure projects.
