Job Description

2.Ensures that required drugs, supplies, infusion fluids and equipment are readily available prior to and during surgery.3.Prepares for all anaesthesia procedures like blood transfusion, intravascular catheterization, invasive and non-Invasive monitoring equipment, general, regional or local anaesthesia, chemotherapy and organ transplantation as needed.4.Prepares and assists in patient position for surgical procedures.5.Assists the anaesthesiologist during anaesthesia induction by manual ventilation and intubation under anaesthesiologist supervision as required.6.Prepares and administers drugs under anaesthesiologist’s supervision as prescribed.7.Checks blood and blood products with anaesthesiologist and administers them under anaesthesiologist supervision.
