Full job descriptionDuties & ResponsibilitiesThe Department of English Literature and Linguistics invitesapplications for an Assistant Professor of French (teaching track) to contribute to the department’sMinor in French program. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Teaching Frenchas a Foreign Language, French Linguistics, or French literature and a native ornear-native proficiency in French. Knowledge of English and/or Arabic would bepreferable. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated experienceof teaching undergraduate, basic-to-intermediate French language courses andcertified DELF/DALF examiners.

1. PhD in the relevant disciplinary area from a reputable and recognized institution.

2. A minimum of 3 years experience teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, following the PhD Degree.
