Job Description
The Department of English Literature and Linguistics invitesapplications for an Assistant Professor of French (teaching track) to contribute to the department’sMinor in French program. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Teaching Frenchas a Foreign Language, French Linguistics, or French literature and a native ornear-native proficiency in French. Knowledge of English and/or Arabic would bepreferable. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated experienceof teaching undergraduate, basic-to-intermediate French language courses andcertified DELF/DALF examiners.1. PhD in the relevant disciplinary area from a reputable and recognized institution.
