The Head of Finance is accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company.This includes setting up the operational and financial strategy, projecting and reporting accurate financial results, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets.Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term vision and objectives to optimize value for shareholders in the businesses.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and international accounting standards.Advise on long-term business and financial planning whilst proactively managing all financial elements.Prepare an annual bottom-up budget using realistic budget assumptions and produce quarterly forecast updates in the light of actual information to meet corporate timetable.Analyse and explain deviations of actual results from budget and forecasts prior to submission of monthlies.Develop/update operational policies, processes, and procedures for the department.Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and strategic initiatives. 

Holder of a Bachelor of Master Degree from a recognized University majoring preferably in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.A relevant professional qualification i.e ACCA, ICAN, CPA, CA.Possession of a Masters Degree in Business Administration and other professional banking qualifications will be an added advantageHave proven working experience in the preparation of accounts, budgets and financial analysis.
