Job DescriptionDatabase Management:Run daily database operations, provide 2nd level support to AirAsia Group IT systems databases.Perform database installation and configuration, hardening, performance tuning, backup and recovery.Liaise with IT product vendors for support and problem troubleshooting.Be scheduled for on-call duties for problem resolution/escalation after working hours.Be involved in the Always On failover, Disaster Recovery (DR) TestAttend DB patching, upgrade, migration on the scheduled downtimeDesign and implement databases in accordance to end user’s requirement needs.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
Possess a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
Experience
At least 3 years of solid working experience in the related fields.Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia or additional languages is an added advantage.
