The Group Controller is responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for the company.The business environment is dynamic and fluid, therefore, the ideal candidate must be a hands-on leader with the ability to zoom out to the bigger picture and experienced in identifying gaps, improving controls and streamlining processes. Considering the lean and flat organizational structure, the ideal candidate must also have a breadth of skills and experience across multiple industries and processes.The role leads the leaders of R2R, P2P, O2C, Internal Controls, and Treasury Ops team with four direct reports. The ideal candidate will be a values-based leader with a proven record of managing and coaching large teams and building talent.This is a key role within the Finance Leadership team (FLT) of Zalora, and the ideal candidate must be an independent and objective thinker who can set goals, build capability, define processes, and achieve outcomes in a fast-paced environment. They should also be able to objectively advise the CFO on both operational and strategic finance matters, integrating finance into the business and providing real value through the provision of quality, timely and accurate information, highlighting issues and trends and earning the trust of the Zalora management team.

The ideal candidate will have more than 15 years of experience within Southeast Asia in a variety of finance leadership roles within both commercial and Shared Service environments. They must also have an internationally recognized professional accounting qualification. Understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is a desirable technical skill.
