DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a Senior Manager for the Amazon Extra Large (AMXL JP) division within Amazon Japan's Operations division.Amidst rapid business expansion, Amazon Japan's Operations division has pursued customer convenience and provided services that deliver the products customers desire quickly. As one of the core teams supporting this service, the AMXL division works with external logistics partners to handle products not available in our own fulfillment centers (FCs) and quickly respond to sudden changes in demand, thereby expanding our product lineup and improving the customer shopping experience. In recent years, we have been further improving productivity and quality by introducing the same systems and management standards as our FCs to external logistics partners.To fulfill this role, this position will standardize operations management and analyze and improve logistics processes. In particular, you will be responsible for improving logistics processes in collaboration with external partners and ensuring the sound operation of external locations.The AMXL division's Operations team will develop and standardize daily progress management methods for inbound and outbound shipping processes at logistics centers operated by external logistics partners and deploy them to external logistics partners. We also provide operational support to ensure smooth operation of new logistics centers when they are opened. Leveraging Amazon's knowledge and experience, you will work closely with external logistics partners to standardize operations, improve quality, and increase productivity at each location.
