Job SummaryAs a Health and Safety Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of our employees and creating a safe working environment. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety policies and programs to mitigate risks and comply with relevant regulations.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Implement Safety Policies:• Create and update comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures tailored to the construction industry.• Ensure that all policies align with the local (Newmont) and state regulations.
Responsibilities & skills
Conduct regular inspections of sites to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with project lead to address safety concerns promptly.
Education
Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Stay current on industry best practices and communicate relevant information to the team.
