Role Purpose• To supervise and support Mine Operations crews on a rotating shift schedule including planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring the activities of the crew, administration of company policies.Role Accountabilities• Ensure the safe and effective utilization of assigned contractor equipment to meet daily production targets.• Utilize Rompad equipment and crusher to achieve planned targets.• Minimize dilution by loading to the right elevation on the pad.• Ensure the upgrade and buffer stockpiles are properly managed to prevent high level downtimes.• Liaise between pit production and Rompad to improve direct dump to optimize cost.• Ensure efficient dewatering of the pits during the back shift.• To ensure that the Mine Contractor performs works in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Contract.• To co-ordinate all other activities within the open pit waste dumps and site environs.

BSc Mining Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution Certified or eligible to be certified as a Mine Captain

Minimum of 1-3 years working experience in related field within the mining industry
