Role ResponsibilityReporting directly to Section Manager the Weighbridge Operative (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for the operation of a busy Weighbridge on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all vehicles entering or leaving the site are within transport weight regulations and accounted for.Your duties in the role of Weighbridge Operative (Maternity Cover) will also include:Managing all vehicles entering and exiting the site, weighing their load, quality checking and recording data accuratelyRecording and calculating inputs and outputs, producing weighbridge tickets, and directing all vehicles to the correct area on our siteRecording all weighbridge activity correctly, accurately and with high organisationCarrying out the necessary admin work to complete the processLiaising with drivers, as they deliver to the site and resolving any issues/problems that occurLiaise with other site team members, keeping a steady flow of traffic movingLiaise with other Weighbridge personnel to ensure that the Weighbridge is maintained during the site’s opening hoursAnswering phone enquiriesDealing with other administrative tasks
