The site is easily accessible from Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock, Chesterfield, Alfreton, Ripley, Belper, Little Eaton, Derby, Uttoxeter, Stoke-on-Trent, Leek, Macclesfield and the surrounding areas.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Main ResponsibilitiesAs the successful Operative, you will report to the Powders Production Coordinator and provide support working a rotating shift pattern. You will be responsible for maintaining plant balance, ensuring product compliances are met and operating mobile plant.On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the role will include (not exhaustive):Being responsible for operating the processing plantLoading lorries via the control room with daily customer requirementsWorking with lab testing teamCarrying out daily safety and quality checks on plantAttending and contributing to monthly safety and operational meetingsOperating manual bulk bag machinesMaintaining good housekeeping
