This role will suit someone practical, safetyfocused and motivated to develop their skills - with scope to grow into more senior operational or supervisory responsibilities over time. You’ll be joining a highperforming nightshift operation where teamwork, pride in the job and doing things the right way are essential. Hours: 48 hours per weekShift pattern: Monday to Friday, 7pm - 5amLocation: Cross Green Asphalt Plant, Leeds (easily accessible from Leeds and surrounding areas) The Role Reporting to the Nightshift Supervisor, the Multi Skilled Operative (Nightshift) plays a key role in the production of asphalt and aggregates for the construction industry, while maintaining bestinclass Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards. Key responsibilities include:  Operating the onsite asphalt plant to produce a range of asphalt productsSupporting plant efficiency and optimisation during evening/nightshift operationsWorking with aggregates and operating mobile plant machineryCarrying out daytoday maintenance and maintaining excellent housekeeping standardsPromoting a strong zeroharm safety culture and behavioural safetyEnsuring awareness and compliance with Health and Safety controls across site
