Our innovative products and solutions not only deliver the infrastructure needed to grow the UK economy today, but also help to create a more sustainable built environment for the country’s long-term future.We're looking for a Mechanical Projects Engineer to join our friendly team in at Aberthaw based by Barry.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Role ResponsibilityIn the role of Mechanical Projects Engineer you will be responsible for:Specifying and coordinating the implementation of strategic and complex projects for the Cement Plant, including development, sustainability and CAPEX.Meeting all projects objectives within safety, quality, time and budget, while managing associated risks.Working in close coordination with the plant management, staff and contractors to ensure the successful planning and implementation of projects to optimise plant efficiency and productivity.This role will also require input into all works improvement plans.The successful candidate will be required to work with the maintenance team on a call out rota.
