Acting as champion for engineering improvements and promoting best practice for the Plant.Managing and motivating the team, ensuring coordination and cooperation between Maintenance and other Plant departments.Ensuring completion of mechanical maintenance tasks with the highest level of safety, quality and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximise equipment availability, applying preventative and predictive maintenance practices which are measured and monitored using specific maintenance KPI’s.Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, Methods Manager and Head of Electrical to define the medium and long term strategy for the Plant maintenance.Plant operations are 365 days, 24/7 and the role requires flexibility to ensure effective running of the plant. This may involve night working, weekend and Bank holidays and being on call if necessary. Daily flexible working is required to suit the needs of the business.
