Introduction to role:Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives? We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide Data & AI Governance and Policy leadership across R&D globally. This role involves developing strategic plans for Data and AI Governance and Policy that support the overall multi-functional strategy and business agenda. You will be expected to use data and AI with confidence to enhance value, while safeguarding legal, ethical, privacy, and security aspects. Accountabilities:As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of global, cross-functional strategic plans for Data & AI Governance and Policy for R&D in concert with Enterprise collaborators. You will anticipate future requirements and ensure appropriate processes are in place to deal with changing external landscape or business direction. You will also serve on Data Office LT and contribute to strategy, vision, and objectives for the function.
Responsibilities + Skills
Proven experience of developing and driving strategy for data and AI governance and policy in a complex regulated multi-national environment.Leadership & influencing experience of multi-layered teams in a global environmentSignificant budget and project management experienceAwareness of Data & AI regulatory and technology trends
Education
Bachelors degree level in a relevant subject area or equivalent years of experienceExtensive in-depth knowledge and experience across multiple data and AI governance and policy specialist areas
