We are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team in Solihull at Tarmac. We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires:Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager Capital Accounting, you will be responsible for:Delivery of accurate fixed asset accounting information and reports within specified timelines.Process improvements and automation within the fixed asset teamEnsure compliance with company policies and Internal controls.Contribute to the delivery and implementation of wider Finance projectsPreparation and posting of entries to the general ledgerAudit queries and Sarbannes Oxley (SOx) control compliance
