We are actively seeking an outstanding teammate to join our EMEA Trading team within Securities Lending based in London. With a focus on innovative technology and imbedded research, our investment management approach to lending provides superior performance for our clients and is an important part of the BlackRock brand. In this fast paced and dynamic environment, BlackRock is a pioneer of using quantitative techniques and sophisticated models combined with fundamental insights from traders to increase the performance of its Securities Lending business. We will look to you to actively contribute to continued development.Our traders implement a critical role in relation to alpha generation and cost minimization for scientific, fundamental and index products. We partner with portfolio managers to optimize returns through a variety of trade types. Traders represent the firm for a selective group of markets or asset classes. They are the primary owner of BlackRock’s work with premier prime brokerage firms and counterparties and offer the best-in-class securities finance product in the market today.

Education
Be responsible for day-to-day administrative issues in support of trading activities and liaise with trading operationsWork with internal e-Trading and Trading Research groups to innovate systems, trading analytics, and coordinate implementation
