We are also one of only a handful of UK-based pharmaceutical companies that span the entire value chain of medicine from discovery, through to development, manufacturing and distribution. Who We Are: AstraZeneca’s Bio-Pharmaceutical Development (BPD) department consists of scientists, engineers, mathematicians and project managers whose ambition is to transform biologic molecules into life-changing medicines. Through this Rotational Associates Programme you’ll gain experience in the development of manufacturing processes and dosage forms for Bio-Pharmaceutical products – everything from molecule discovery to packaging the final product. Programme participants work on challenging technical projects supporting the development of protein therapeutics in the areas of Cell Culture and Fermentation, Purification, Analytics and Protein Characterization, Formulation, Delivery Devices, Clinical Logistics and Manufacturing.

A bachelors or masters degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, mathematics or related field gained in 2023 or later (no work experience required)
