Fraunhofer IPA has extensive expertise in the field of additive manufacturing of plastics. The research focuses on the development of systems and processes for additive manufacturing processes within interdisciplinary research projects. In this context, processes are developed using specially developed test stands, materials are qualified and new applications are analyzed.
