As part of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD is the leading international institution for applied research in visual computing. Our mission is to continuously enable people in the age of digitization to master increasingly complex computer systems and increasing amounts of data. To do this, we use our technological lead in visual computing and are constantly developing it for the benefit of people, society and the economy.The Rostock site is currently investing 60 million euros in applied research on digital underwater technology and smart farming and is expanding its research capacities in a targeted manner.At IGD, we are regularly on the lookout for new talent who would like to do cutting-edge research with us. The Fraunhofer Institute for Graphic Data Processing Rostock is looking for a student assistant to support the activities in the competence network OceanTechnologies@Fraunhofer with a volume of approx. 40 hours/month.
